Becca is torn between quitting her private investigator work and pursuing her art full-time, but she postpones the decision to attend the Easter Eggstravaganza—the final cat show of the season. Things take a turn when Tutu, the feline tied for first place with Becca’s own cat Jaspurr, mysteriously disappears. Convinced Tutu didn’t run off alone, Becca suspects foul play, only to find herself accused by the local TV station of being the thief. Determined to clear her name, she dives back into detective mode.
The case turns darker when a trail of blood-stained paw prints leads to a dead body, revealing that someone at the show—an exhibitor, judge, vendor, or fan—is a murderer. Teaming up with a budding investigative reporter, Becca starts piecing together the clues. But when a mysterious photograph surfaces, she realizes the danger is far closer than she imagined.
