INHALE LOVE, EXHALE PEACE by Miranda Stone

If inner peace exists, mine is definitely hiding under a stack of pancakes.

Every time Brian Mitchell walks into my diner, my calm makes a swift exit. We met at Wild Lotus Yoga, but it’s the early-morning breakfasts that throw me completely off balance.

He makes me wonder if maybe I’m not as broken as I felt after my ex-husband walked out. So when he buys a fixer-upper and asks for my help designing the kitchen, I tell myself it’s strictly “a friend helping a friend.”

But the more time we spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore the spark between us. Somewhere between yoga mats, morning coffee, and one almost-kiss, I have to decide whether guarding my heart is worth missing out on something that grows stronger every day.
